That's a pretty nice tone you got there... Can you share the settings used on the Roadster?

Anyone use it? How good are the preamps? Apart from that, I'm pretty sure it has all I need: 2 mic/line ins, midi in/out, usb, phantom power, etc.

I second that. It's like they sound fake or something :? I dont see the Road King "achieving" any of that tone.

That actually made a whole lot of sense. I never thought about it like that.

I'm not a pro at this, but I think sustain (note duration) is more affected by the guitar than anything else, but the gain helps a lot to keep the note going longer.

I just got my Roadster this month and I've been using Fat, Brit, Vintage and Modern. I use an OD for channel two for a bit more gain, but I haven't found the exact sound I want yet. I'm looking for a kind of Porcupine Tree rythm sound or Opeth low-gain sound. I have channel 3 set up for leads on...

I'm currently in the market for a Mesa Roadster and I'm still hesitating between going new or used. Does anyone have one for sale? I'm in Canada (Montreal to be more precise :)). ::Edit:: Forgot to mention, I'm looking for the head version, so if anyone has a 2x12 to go with it, we could work...

USED to sell 1.5 times what they sell in the US. They recently ajusted the price. I went to a store (here in Montreal) a few months back, and a Mark IV was 2700, and now it's 1700. Tough luck if he payed big bucks to get it back then. I'm not sure about the whole shipping thing though.

Roadster was 2100$ today at my local store, but I'm in Canada :P I guess it's around the same in the US though, maybe like 100 less max.

A deal like that is all I'm looking for :P
