I see. I would bet that you do not have it. If the original owner had the mod done to it, I guarantee that he would have disclosed that to you because it's a good selling point.

If you don't know, then you don't have it. I was one of the first owners to get the Hollywood Mod. It cost only $40 at the time. I had to take it to the MB Hollywood Store. I had the receipt that showed the work performed. Hope that helps...

No, no, no. If you want all those sounds, you probably need to get a modeling amp like a Line6 Vetta II. I'm serious. I sold my Stiletto and Roadster and got a Line6. I'm so glad I did. I don't tour or gig so I didn't need a big amp anyway. The modeling amps get so **** near close to many...

I don't regret buying it because otherwise I wouldn't have known that it was the wrong amp for me. I sold my Roadster last week.

It can be a bit rough to get a good solo off of it. I have to tweak my Roadster quite a bit before I can. I used to get it immediately with my Mark IV.

It can not be done. You will damage your amp if you try. There is no mod that would even allow you to do it.

The HW mod is only for the series one Stiletto. Read my "sticky" post at the top of the forum regarding the Stiletto.

No it can't. I had the Mark IV and sold it for my Roadster (I also had a TR before). They are entirely different sounds. I can't get the Mark IV sound with my Roadster either.

Take it to a pro. :wink:

Hi, I have a 4x12 rectifier cab with V30's. I noticed a huge improvement in sound when I removed the back panel. My Roadster sound can "breathe" now. However, I was thinking about making some holes in strategic places around the back panel and putting it back on. Does anyone have any tips on...

Uh oh, this pattern sounds familiar. I've experienced this scenario MANY times with my Stiletto I. I loved it....hated it....loved it....hated it. Changed tubes...loved it.....hated it..... ON and ON and ON. Finally I sold it and I'm so glad I did.

Have you read my "sticky" post at the top of the page? I had the worst love/hate relationship with that amp. Even moded, it was a hard amp to like. There is a reason that a stage II came out. I wouldn't recommend a stage one at all. As for a stage II, I don't own one but I test played an ACE for...

I agree. For the price, not bad at all. I would recommend Groove Tubes. I switched to Groove Tubes after I had too many JJ tubes fail on me. No matter what, both of them have great customer service.

NOPE. I checked a few months ago. It's not even on the radar.

I LOVE the Spongy setting. I only have it on bold if I am using an EMG equipped guitar.

What are some reasons for wanting to bias your Mesa? What tonal changes? I'm curious as it may give me one more thing to look forward to.
