Any doubts about gain mate check out this demo of my old mate Fred The Shred, hes playing all these licks with my electra Dyne (You see it in the later stages) we did have a very mild overdrive in front boosting it but the gain was only about 2 o'clock on the red channel so it was more to punch...

Mad as a box of frogs! The Express are great but 5w cranked is still very, very loud for home use so dont be fooled by that!

Nice post mate! I'm not experienced with these amps but I'm gonna say the second and third were the best sounding, first was a bit too low end and sounded flabby and the last one was like a wasp in a biscuit tin! :lol:

hey mate, I chopped a MV for the Dyne, mostly because of the endless tweaking needed and the fact I didnt really need all that gain, my opinion? The Dyne does what it does better than a MV could imitate it, but the five has it licked in terms of all those tones and versatility, truly the most...

1. Answered. I have the full head and its still a weighty beast, and its Biiig! 2. Still not really stretched the loop, Im running a T-rex twin boost in there with the delay so I have a lot more versatility with solos and stuff, it doesnt seem to like my delay though, probably user error tbh...

I just got a T-Rex twin boost for mine as I certainly dont need any more gain! Sounds pretty sweet in the loop!
