Hey Miiks. I use a 800W step-down transformer for my MKIV , but you should be fine with one above 500W.You could also run it with 300W but not cranking the amp and not having it at full potential.

for me it has more than enough gain, and also no matter how i tweek the knobs i still get good sound, just different flavours and eq's. here you can listen for a log-ish type song and mix .tell me if it sounds good to you...
