No it's definately a Lonestar, If you click on the Amps link you can clearly see the Lonestar emblem.

Heresy statement here but...
The Crate Powerblock will serve the purpose for a cheap portable backup. I carry one to every gig, never needed it but I know it will work in a pinch. You can even use it as a backup for the bass player if needed.

Jerry's right... replace the tubes. Intermittent means it will fail again and it will most likely happen when you least want it too.
If they are Mesa tubes, give them a call and explain to them what happened. They will most likely do right by you.
