The Roadster has a series FX loop which I reckon is more useable IMHO.
A series loop is like a complete break between pre an power amp, the whole signal leaves the preamp, through your FX pedals and back to the power amp.

The G Major is a great unit. Unfortunately I sold mine as it seemed to suck the tone on my forth channel of my Roadster. It just happens that's the channel I used the most :evil:

Both diagrams are great and what's needed to store settings in case the knobs get knocked out of place in transit to a gig/rehearsal. Is it possible for you diagram gurus to make one for the Roadster head, which I guess is pretty similar to the Road King in any case?

I bought my SEDs from Doug and written on the box is 19.0mA. I'll just stick with the setup I have now, it's not like it sounds bad or anything. Thanks for the info anyway!

I did a quick search but didn't yield anything. It is safe to run the SED 6L6 tubes with the Roadster's bias switch set to EL34 mode? I tried it and nothing has gone bust yet and it sounds a lot warmer (good!). The tubes do get a blue band around the outside of them, so I'm a bit...
