Blackout AHB-2 (METAL)

Anyone using this badboy yet? I'm having one installed in my SL1T.
I had the AHB-1 in my other Jackson and I loved it but the mids were sweeped quit a bit.
Anyone have any recordings of the B-2?

Fake and sterile sounding. Tons of gain no warmth. They sound so similar to emg's its not even funny. If you have a high gain amp your tone would be much better with a medium-hot passive pickup. I used emg's for 10 years and i will never go back to active. Passives are so much more open sounding and less compressed.

I got the Jackson back with the AHB-2 Meatl pickup. LOVE IT!
Not near as scooped as the AHB-1's were. Very thick and round tone.
Sounds killer with the Tung-sol Single Rec and cab.
I seroius improvement over the AHB-1!!

insane mids and insane gain, i got it in the bridge with a booster in my B.C
