Never got a chance with the BB. BUT the Flux Drives works for me!!! So much nicer then either Maxon pedals (OD 9 Pro Plus and OD 808) :D

Yea I was looking at EP Booster to but needed something that could work rhythm and lead maybe use instead of a OD9 Pro Plus or OD808. I'm hearing a lot good reviews on BB and Flux Drive but not sure if the Roadster owners like the Flux Drive better then the BB?

Anybody try both pedals with a Roadster or Dual Recto? Is the Flux Drive working better then the BB Preamp or as good at boosting lead tone? I'm using a Maxon OD9 Pro Plus that knocks quite a bit of hi end off an already dark amp :? .

not sure about the "Black Shadow", but the ones currently sold on Mesa's site are real UK made Celestions. I bought two V30 8ohm speakers, and they say Made In England on a gold Celestion sticker. They sound amazing in my Port City OS.

jdurso my friend. You are genius everything works after replacing first two pre amp tubes across from the cabinet inputs. **** even my local Mesa service center didn't tell me preamp after I asked, of coarse it's $$$$ to them. Thanks!!!!!!!!!

yes one is a white dome with blown off top. but it still no sound after replacing it with a new one. Could it be another is blown, but doesn't show the white dome? how can you tell the pre amp tube went besides white dome?

are these amp prone to breaking?? **** man!! I just got it back from service center a week ago with full new tubes everything checked it for few hours after I got it back and everything sounded great. I didn't touch again for two week (because I have a F50 for practice) and now no sound??? not...

Called Mesa they said it sounds like a power tube failure, told my local authorized repair center, and he said it's most unusual problem he has heard about hmm? will find out within two weeks after I drop it off tomorrow

Yea, I'll talk to Mesa tomorrow see what they say. It's still under 5 yr warranty, and under six months of owning it. So they might help me re tube it. channel 4 still works while other three channels 1-3 start, and then fizzle out to no sound at all??

Anyone has had this happen to them. My 6 month old Mesa Roadster started making high pitching crackling noise today. So after about 5 mins of this it finally dies out in silence (no power). I check the fuse it's black so obviously needs a new fuse. I then put the new fuse in, but now channels...

it seems like having Mark V and Roadster wouldn't hurt except the wallet. it sounds like each offer a different tone none better just different.

using ibanez 8 string with 808 pickups

My settings CH.1 P-1 B-1 T-2 M-12 Ch.2 P-1 B-12 T-2 M-1 The port city cabinet makes a big difference I think.
