Hi all, just curious if anyone here with the badlander notices a slight hum when switching the amp into 20 watt mode? I contacted mesa support about it and they said it's normal because the "tubes are working harder" in that mode. Not sure I buy that, since my mark v 90 doesn't hum in 10 watt...

My Mark V had developed a bad case of the static and hum that no amount tube swapping or cable substitution has resolved. Anyone from MN recommend a good repair shop? I see the list on Mesa's site, but I'm looking for first hand experience. thanks!

I always have channels 1 and 2 set to ss rectifier, but tonight I tried the tube rectifier setting and noticed odd behavior. If I'm on the 45 watt power setting and flip the switch to tube rectifier, the volumes drops out and then slowly ramps back up. Switching to 10 watt mode the volumes...

I took my mark V chassis out of the headshell to replace some tubes and now I can't get the **** chassis screws to catch. Any magic tips for getting them back in? I can get them in the first hole, but they don't catch on the bottom.
