Played my first gig with this new setup over this past weekend and the V30's sounded pretty good!!! Having said that, I think the only speakers I might be interested in at the moment are the WGS V30 variants that are supposed to fix that mid range

And the verdict is in....she's a keeper. (so far) I'm used the the type of drive the regular dual rectifiers and Roadster has and I noticed that this amp is something differnt all together. Definitely more mids for sure in all modes in both channels. I had no problem cutting throughh the band...

This mod sounds really interesting, although I would like to make it switchable somehow to be able to keep both tones. Do any of you guys have pictures of the actual amp circuit board just to make sure I located the right components???

well...she's going to be pulling her first gig with me tonite. I'm still not running actual rectifier tubes and have had no problems. I'm running a quad of SED EL34's with a mix in the preamp section. I'm running EHX 12AX7's in V1, V3, and V4. A groove tube 12AX7C in V2 and 12AT7's in V5 and V6...

Try the switch doctor footswitches on ebay. Same as the original and probably cheaper than buying from Mesa
