Mesa 6v6 equivalent JJ/EHX? ratings?

Hi all, am considering trying a 6v6 for my Mesa Heartbreaker currently is using Mesa stock 6l6s. Any idea which tubes would be fine for it? Its not easy to get mesa 6v6s in here, local tube shop has Tung-sol and EHX do you have any idea which one would be ideal?

You would have to re-bias that amp to use 6V6's.You can order Mesa 6V6's directly from Mesa,but I doubt they have any that will bias properly in that amp.Give them a call and see what they say.

i don't understand this well but looked into this topic months ago for my dual rec

bob at eurotubes says that JJ 6v6 can take much higher voltages than standard 6v6, so if you tell him what your doing, he'll send you a set that can handle the extra voltage

i run my rec with 2 el34 and 2 6v6 and greenbacks... the clean is the best its ever been...sounds like a marshall boogie
