Coliseum Mark II C/C+ production number research

The lowest IIc+ s/n I've seen is 12376... I'm looking at it right now. And, nope, it's definitely not a Coli! :D

    Mark Series Serial Numbers

Actually, s/n 12376 is an early IIc+. I could tell you how I know, but then...

When did Mesa start using the current fixed bias settings?

    Bumpin' it up!

When did Mesa start using the current fixed bias settings?

Pun intended with the "current" in the subject! 8) Seriously, tho'... I'm sure I read somewhere that the Mk I and IIa (and possibly later Mk IIs...) use different fixed bias values than later models, meaning that the "Mesa range", either with power tubes sold by Mesa or those of other...

Our new video- Mesa Mark IIC+ content

Very tasty, Gary! I'm assuming you're the Gary in the band name... What settings did you use on the IIc+?

Alice in Chains tone using markV head and cab...

The blue glow (plasma) is normal... at least with 6L6s. Strangely, I've never seen it with EL34s! Are you saying it wasn't ever there before you were swapping back'n'forth without changing the bias switch?

Do I need new frets on my Les Paul?

Those are the standard late '70s version of 'fretless wonder' frets, similar to Dunlop 6130s. I love 'em... but then, the first electric I ever owned was a '78 Les Paul Standard... which I still have. I also love vintage Fender style frets (6230s)... I can play guitars with giant...

    2x12 cabs...suggestions

One clarification: L&R combined is only 120 watts... two different speakers in parallel have a power rating twice that of the lower wattage speaker.

    Ian's "Boogie Files"...gone??

There's a partial archive on archive.org's Wayback Machine (love that name!) http://wayback.archive.org/web/*/http://homepage.mac.com/mesaboogie/welcome.html The April 13 version seems to be the most complete... the blue dot on that date if you've never used the Wayback Machine before.
