I suppose this could be posted in the "Effects" section, but I wanted to zero in on a specific application. I have a IIc+ on the way, without GEQ, and I'd like to hear about others' experience running an EQ in the loop. Are there any that do a decent job emulating Mesa's onboard GEQ, or just...

The blue glow (plasma) is normal... at least with 6L6s. Strangely, I've never seen it with EL34s! Are you saying it wasn't ever there before you were swapping back'n'forth without changing the bias switch?

Those are the standard late '70s version of 'fretless wonder' frets, similar to Dunlop 6130s. I love 'em... but then, the first electric I ever owned was a '78 Les Paul Standard... which I still have. :mrgreen: I also love vintage Fender style frets (6230s)... I can play guitars with giant...

One clarification: L&R combined is only 120 watts... two different speakers in parallel have a power rating twice that of the lower wattage speaker. :idea:
