Hey guys, so I am selling my Mesa Boogie Mark III Short-head. I am about to move to Cali and I am looking to downsize my amps/ gear and invest in an Axe-FX. It is a red-stripe with simul-class, 75/15 watt switch, and EQ. Around 8 or so months ago, I had it totally gone through by Authorized Mesa tech Andy Turner. The filter caps were replaced, it was biased, retubed, and I had him put in the 'mandatory' R2 volume mod, external bias control, plus add a negative feedback control labeled (Attitude). I should note that the reverb tank was removed and the R2 control was put in the reverb controls place. I haven't played it much since then, maybe 3 hours total. Overall, it is in very good condition. It even has the leather corners! It also comes with a Mesa cover. This is a great sounding amp; very thick gain and almost unlimited tone sculpting. It also has great clean and mid gain sounds.

I am looking to get $850 firm shipped/ insured to continental US on this bad boy. I don't do paypal anymore, so USPS Money Order only. I have bought/ sold a bunch on The Gear Page (Severinsteel), Huge Racks (Severinsteelsmith), Ebay (Severinsteelsmith), and Jemsite (Severinsteelsmith).

Looks like the Mark III chasis was put into another Mark headshell ( not mentioned in the ad). Correct me if I'm wrong?

Is it? I am not the first owner, so it may be. Does it not look like a Mark III headshell?

Yeah, sorry not Mark series but looks like it was a Mesa DC series headshell. They have the leather corners as well.

See the fourth and fifth pix from the top - it's a Mark IV cab. It's got the attachment points for the foot switch. Cool. :D
