Hi all. I have a question in regards to the Mark IV and Mark V. I suppose this question is geared more towards the people who currently own both or who owned a MK IV and got rid of it and replaced it with a MK V. Here it goes: I currently own a MK IV b (2006 model) and based on what I have...
The tone and the playing sound great! I am sure that it could even sound better if it was being recorded with something other than the camera mic. I would like to hear/see more. What mode where you using and what were your settings on the Triaxis? Was the patch on the G-Force just a basic delay...
I want to listen to your clips, but unfortunately they are only about 2 seconds long each. They need to be fixed. Let us know when they are up and running.
I payed close attention to the chug-chug rhythm section from :48 sec. on and I have to say I really liked it and thought it sounded **** good. It had that kick-*** Recto grind that I love so much. I think that you could record some songs right now as is and it would sound great. The EQing...
Wow. Thats a MKIV? Pretty brutal and bad-*** sounding. Its got that very heavy and scooped sound (which makes sense since you said you scooped the GEQ) Sounds cool. Its funny how a riff can sound completely different just because of how it is EQ'd. I mean, listening to that riff, I think it...
Wow. That amp sounds great! I never knew they sounded that good. (I dont think I have ever heard a .50 cal. before) Were you boosting the front of the amp with a pedal or was that straight in?
Well, its funny that you say that because I just bought one on Ebay that looks to be in great shape. Every time I heard the tones from a Studio Pre that people are getting it just made me want one more and more, so now I will be able to dial in my own sound with one. I am going to go check out...

Hello all. I just did a quick search and I got what appeared to be a few conflicting answers so I thought I would just ask here.....
As far as the Studio Pre is concerned, am understanding correctly that it is supposed to be a "copy" of the Mark IIC+ preamp section? Now I am not going to get...
Well, I have played a MKIII and thought it sounded great. If I had to "settle" for a MKIII, I would be totally happy with it because it is a great sounding amp. Having said that, I have only heard but never played thru a C+, but I really do want one based on just what I hear. And for the record...
Hello fellow Boogie fans. I have a question that hopefully a Boogie expert can help me out with.
I have been looking to get a Mark II head with graphic EQ that I can send to Boogie to have modded/updated into a C+. I am looking to go this route because it will be MUCH cheaper to do it this way...
Yes, the green is ground. You would connect that to the third prong on the plug. Try to remember it this way: grass is green, grass is on the GROUND. And yes, you want that amp grounded. It can be a real safety hazzard if it is left un-grounded.
Wow man, that was very cool. Both the tone and the playing were spot on. I have to say that I really enjoyed listening to the track.
Can I ask what you did for the drums?
