My Mk V sounds like an *** with a sparkledrive that my royal atlantic loves??? Does your Mk v like pedals?

My ED has a fair bit of baseline hiss worst in red but still there in blue with gain trim on clean. My preamp tubes are all good and most are new? Anyone else have similar issue?

I put the Mk V in variac power and 45 watt setting tonight...wow...amazing!

Just curious what fellow ed widebody owners set their mids to? I had mine at 10 o clock...sounded great....cranked it up to 1 o clock...still sounds great....not sure where to leave it?????

My mark v got sent back to ca for warranty repairs.... Got it back and put it together and fired it up......it works.....but channel 3 is still a bit noisy and something weird is going on with it because before extreme sounded way better than mark iv....but now mark iv is kicking extremes...

I would appreciate your expert help here..... I swapped out my 6l6s for a new quad of mesa tubes.....first off they were difficult to fully seat in the sockets....is this normal with the 6l6????? Secondly...the amp is making a rattling sound on the tweed and fat channel on certain bassy notes...
