Nice headshells! Are those the same 3 C+'s I sold you? Michael

    EVM-12L Classic Reissue??

In my opinion it is just as good. Especially after it is broken in. I had a mark III, and (2) C+'s w/ them. Sounded great!!!!

    Boogie EQ pedal?

Mike B. specifically recommended the Presonus EQ3B, to run through the loop. He told me it was the closest to the real thing.

WTB: Mark III black stripe/black dot

This looks like one. It is a combo though. http://saginaw.craigslist.org/msg/2416479664.html If I see another one, I will forward the link. Michael

Price check IIC+ conversion, 60 watts, no EQ or reverb

Well worth the asking price. The 60 watters w/o eq, sound incredible. PURE TONE!!! Go for it!

    FS: Mark IIC+ DRGX combo

I had an upgraded C+, in which the X101 transformer from 1981 also, and was added later. It was originally just a Mark IIC H. Ended up as a IIC+ HRX It did not have a voltage selector either. I would imagine that this one is already good to go. By the way, yours has the RP-11A board, so it...

Yeah, I plan on keeping this one. It did come in a new box, and was packed extremely well.

SED Winged C's vs STR 415's

I have had 415's, but not at the same time as SED Winged C's. Is there really a huge difference in tone and quality?

    IIC+ Simul: Two different versions?

That is why he said that it surprised him so much. He said that it had the part in it that gave the simul C+'s the bright mod. He said that it was the original solder job, so it was originally installed at the factory. He also said it made the amp obnoxiously bright. So I had a one off...

    Mark IIC+ opinions

I have owned (3) non-Eq'd C+'s, and (4) C+'s w/ EQ. One that I owned had the similar setup, 60/100 - export transformer - no eq. It was one of the best amps I have ever heard. Tight focus and extremely smooth. I used an old MXR 10 band EQ in the loop. Personally, I can not tell much of any...

    IIC+ Simul: Two different versions?

My original HRG C+ is on its way back from Mesa also. Mike said that mine had like a super bright mod on it. He said it was ridiculously bright. He did say in fact that it was factory installed that way though. He said it suprised him a bit. I always thought the stock 60/100 C+ was bright...

    Mark IIC+ opinions

When speaking to Mike B. once, he specifically recommended the Presonus EQ3B to use in the loop on a Non-EQ C+ amp.

Got my HRG C+ back from Mesa (Gut Shots).

Hey, yeah, I would send it to Mesa for sure. Mike B. will make it stock and good as new. The cost for caps and general service of course varies. They will usually tell you a couple hundred bucks. If you are not getting the tube sockets replaced, I would say $200-$275 plus shipping. Could be...
