Hi folks,
I'm thinking of purchasing a Boss GT-10 and connecting it via the four cable method (as I've seen posted on this board!) One thing I want to do is to add a fifth cable from the Boss GT-10's amp control out function, to the Mark V:25 foot-switch input, in order to be able to switch channels on the amp via the GT-10. However, the amp control out on the GT-10 is mono (the online user manual says its on or off, so it only works for two-channel amps), whereas the Mesa foot-switch is stereo (TRS) presumably because the first switch changes the channel and the second switch engages the EQ.
My question is, can I still use the GT-10 to act as a foot-switch with this mismatch (just for changing channels, not for controlling the EQ), and if so, which cable can I accomplish this with?
Thanks for you time
