Hey, I found a guy selling a 1969 Gibson Les Paul for $500 near where my folks live.

Here is his add:
1969 Les Paul,original owner,primo conditon,stored under a/c for the last 35 years.Divorce coming must sell!best cash offer over 500.00!

What do you guys think? How much can these things sell up to?

DAMNIT! I just called the add and this conversation occured:
Me: "Hi I saw your add about the Les Paul"
Guy: "What?"
Me: "...about the guitar?"
Guy: "Oh it's long gone, my wife sold it, she kept the money"
Me: "...oh...k thanks"

Haha ****, that would've been a killer flip.

If they weren't getting divorced before, selling his guitar would have probably made it happen anyways

1969 LP - $3k to 4K depending on condition. Late 69 could be transitional w/ sandwich body. I only know this because my early 70 LP custom was like this and supposedly the transition did not start until late 70/71.
