Quad folks...reverb question...

How intense is the reverb? I think in terms of *quality*, it's among the best spring reverb I've ever heard. But on '10' it's about as intense as a Fender combo on '3'. Enough to be a nice enhancement, but not capable of really being an 'effect' like Fenders can be.

Is this normal? I kinda figure it is, but I thought I'd ask.

LOL...guess I could try a shorting plug in the 'reverb boost' jack...

Intense enough to satisfy any surf musician with a hollowbody. I use it to make the cleans 'breathe'. I have it set about 4, no need for the boost. If you engage the boost and dime the verb, there's more than most can handle.

I've noticed the one draw back on Mesa amps: The reverb usually isn't that good. But it's nice they put it on there anyways!
