Would a fan like this work for a MarkIV?

I can't see why it wouldn't. Its very similar to the one in my Mk IV except I think mine is bigger. Around 6 inches square.

The one you are looking at is around 3 1/2" square.

The idea is to keep air moving - not provide air conditioning.
 
This one is closer to the size of the stock 4.75" Mesa fan, the Howard 3-15-2470:

But that smaller one looks interesting. I wonder if it's quieter.
 
After I posted I found this one.

It as a little larger and thinner and comes with a speed control. Being able to slow this thing down a little based on surroundings would be pretty nice. I think I may get it and see. Mesa was over $50 for a new kit with chord.
