Mark V combo front grill removable?

Hi guys. Is the grill on the Mark V combo easily removed? It looks like only 4 screws are holding it on. Just askin'.

You can take the grill off that way...but the safest way to do this is to take the chassis out first...less damage fo sho

Man, I just realized how I wrote my question. I mean the grilllcoth panel, apparently being held by 4 screws on the combo.

yup - I put a hole in mine so I ordered a new one from Mesa. Just pop the 4 screws out and pry the top of the grill out and its easy.

Thanks Joe. I'm ordering cloth for a cabinet so I might just make a new grill and replaced it to match the original one. I'll keep the original one if I need to sell the amp.

One tip. Pull the bottom of the grill out first.

On most mesa cabs (I've never removed a V grill) the top of the grill has a strip of foam that fits between the grill and the chassis. The foam might get damaged if you pull the top first.

Back the screws out of the baffle, but leave them partially screwed into the grill, then you can use them (gently!) as "handles" to pull with.
