Mark V 25 with headphone amp

I just got a Behringer micromon ma400 headphone amp, $24.00, as per someone's suggestion and it improves the tone when using headphones withe the mark V 25. I have audio technica ath m50x headphones. It cuts out the unwantef distortion fizzle ( was hearing it on clean channels too) because you can set the mark V 25 master volume low and turn up the headphone amp. Still experimenting...

That's a good idea for anyone who uses the headphone out very often. With my JP2C, I can't get it loud enough for my liking when using headphones. I'm also using the M50x's. I have to run the master at about 2 o'clock on the lead channel and I think that just puts too much stress on the amp. After playing for 15 minutes the chassis gets too hot to touch. Running the master below noon just isn't loud enough for me :mrgreen: Good idea and a nice find!
