Hello Mesa forumers, I have a question that I'm afraid it's hard for me to do a search or find out the answer unless I purchase a Mark V: 25 head but I hope to be answered in this forum.

If I get a Mark V:25 head, possible for me to plug into an audio interface to record it straight from the head? And probably 'left line output' from the audio interface to nearfield monitors or FRFR loud speakers?

Hi, atomant.. The answer is yes. I have this interface:
https://www.roland.com/us/products/quad-capture/
And I send the CabClone output to the input 1. Remember, if you don't have a cabinet, put Spkr Off in the back.

However, I tested to record the other day with this set up:
- Input 1: Shure SM57 in my Mini Rectifier 1x12
- Input 2: CabClone with Spkr On and closed back
And love it... you have 2 tracks with different sound and color to mix up..

Thank you very much for your reply. Can I assume that the Roland quad-capture interface is of the same grade as my Scarlett 2i2?

Yep, exactly the same! ;)

I use the Cab clone out straight into a scarlett as well and it works great.
