According to the tube task chart in the user's manual(http://www.mesaboogie.com/manuals/Mark 4.pdf), there is no one "reverb tube". Look at Page 17 of the manual. The reverb send and return duties are divided between two 12ax7s, and by removing them both, you'll be messing with the lead channel at the very least.

I would not do it, and why would you want to?

Jeez guys, the guy has a version A, which has a dedicated reverb tube. Don't quote the manual for the B version.

But... why not play it safe? Even if you're not using the reverb, throw some kind of tube in there just to be safe. At least until someone who knows for sure can answer.
