mark III EQ slider knobs

I know this has been discussed at various times, and I am aware that the original mark III EQ slider knobs are now out of stock, but I wonder: does anyone have a DIY idea or source for making a
slider knob that looks right? As are many people, I am missing one of mine, and I would rather not buy a whole set of new style ones for $$$

I don't know where you can get some old ones, but I'd advise also everyone else to tear them off and keep them safe and put some new on, as they are often stolen........
