Mark IIB Retube Recommendation

I have a IIB and have owned it for 20 years.

EV, reverb, no EQ, effects loop with volume control...

I've never changed the tubes and well...It's time to get to it...it actually sounds ok... so no telling how nice it will sound after I change things out...but I'm starting to gig again and need to get this thing tweaked

So without asking too loaded of a question... what is a good generic tube swap recommendation...

Sylvania tubes! Unfortunately the original Mark I, II were design around Sylvania power tubes. If you use other type of 6L6s, you might have to have it rebias for those particula tubes.

I have a Mark IIA non reverb and here's my tubes of choice:

V! Tung Sol 12ax7
V2 JJ 12ax7 or Chinese 12ax7
V3 JJ12ax7 or Chinese 12ax7
V4 On my amp this is the phase inverter tube. For this one I found great results with the Sovtek 12ax7LPS. This tube really
stands out when I use it in the phase inverter position

For power tubes I am now using a set of JJ6l6, but might be switching to NOS phillips or SED Winged C, I've heard good things about these tubes.
