let me help out the boogieslayer here. I own one of these and use it in our PA rack (which is a pretty simple one: 1-12 channel Carvin powered mixer and this rack mount BBE Sonic Maximizer). The effect of this simple BBE on the overall mix of vocals, mic'd guitars, acoustic/bass/keys or anything direct into the board is significant. Makes the whole mix come alive and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to raise the standard of their live sound. Incredible you can do it for $90.
