Does Anyone Remember These Strings???

Back in the '70's there were some short lived very expensive guitar strings on the market which I thought were fantastic. The brand was Maxima. The E,B,G strings were gold and the D,A,E strings were black. These strings really sang but didn't stay on the market very long. Anyone out there remember these? The package was predominatly yellow/green with a Silhouette of a guitarist in purple or something. Typical '70's style artwork.

There's obviously not a lot on my mind right now hence the question. Just thought I'd throw it out there for the hell of it.

was a big fan of the Maximas...actual gold in the strings..but I played them in the late 80's /early 90's...
they were killer strings
check into Optima strings-read where they bought Maxima/may be out of bizness...$$ strings...google time!
