Digitech Whammy

I am considering buying a digitech whammy pedal. there are a few songs my band has that i think i could utilize it. my question is does anyone know or have any use with these? I mean, is it a horrible tone sucker or does it stay somewhat accurate? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I used to have one of the Whammy 4's and I liked it. Actually I regret getting rid of it and will probably buy another one. I don't remember it sucking your tone when it was on or off. Pretty cool little unit and you can get alot of strange sounds out of it.

I used to have one. I returned a few of them because of a huge volume drop when engaged. Other than that, a very fun and interesting pedal.

I have sense gotten this pedal. Pretty interesting sounds like stated. I also haven't noticed any tonal problems with it on or off. Good pedal
