Boss FV50H for Mark IIa loop (variable gain control)

Hi!

Somebody has offered me two volume pedal as part of a trade. This are Boss FV50H (high impedance input) and FV50L (low impedance). Id like try the variable gain feature plugging a volume pedal in the Effects loop of my Mark IIa.

AFAIK both will do fine, could you confirm this?
