Hi all,

I sold my VHT 2/50/2 I used with my CAE 3+se to buy a 2:90.
Everyone tells me the 2:90 is the best poweramp to go with the CAE 3+se. I stumbled upon a 395 poweramp wich I fell in love with the first time I heard the Boogie tone (quad, 395, thiele 1x12 evm).
I had a Triaxis and 2:90 wich didnt do it for me.

Should I go for the 395 or stick with the 2:90.

I cant find a 2:90 on this moment but the 395 is available for a good price!

Hi Nocki,

if you have a chance to try the 395 with your CAE check it out. If it´s "your tone" go for it!

I don't think you can possibly go wrong with a 395. I used to have one and sort of regret letting it go.

The 2:Ninety was more or less made to go with the TriAxis. They are voiced to work well together and they do.
I think if you're using something else (you mentioned a CAE) that you might be better off with the 395/295 route.

The 2:90 might be fine as well.
The 50:50 is a very good power amp as well.
