295 Mod...

Has anyone heard of a mod that will change the tube configuration of 4 EL34s and 4 6L6s to only (8) 6L6s in the 295? I like the sound of the 295 but I am more partial to 6L6 tubes...

ok 6l6 and el34 are both rated to 25-30 watts so you didn´t need to change the power supply. To replace the an el34 with a 6l6 tube you only need to change the tube resistors, so take the schematics of the 295 and learn about it yourself. That is the best way to understand and do the correct mod for your purposes
