I have a mint-looking, well-cared-for 295 Simuclass I requisitioned from a studio in Germany and had shipped to the States that I need to get converted from 220v/50hz to 117v/60hz. That seems to entail shipping this monstrous piece of steel across the country back to Mesa in California.
It weighs the better part of 50-55lbs. I have a SKB case for it, so maybe stuff that into a 29"x17"x23", double walled carboard box.
I'm just shuddering speculating what this might cost me...
Any suggestions, tips, best practices, mojo from previous experiences, or anything you might like to share I am all ears.
