The Martin D-15 all mahogany it a best buy for a great acoustic. They play and sound great. I have recorded a few of them and they have a great tone. Nice lows and not too bright. They look nice too. I want one.

Acoustic tile isn't really for soundproofing. More for balancing out the frequencies and reflections. For lowering the volume you need mass. Insulation, etc. The cheapest bet is matresses. They really cut down the sound. Find some decent used ones.

I am going to look at a used Mark III blue stripe long body head with reverb and EQ and the owner doesn't see a sticker that says Simul Class anywhere. Has the full power/half power switch on front and 4 power tubes. 2-6L6's and 2-EL34's. Is the sticker the only way to tell? Thanks
