ask questions like: when were the tubes last changed? all original parts? year of production? (very important for markIII series as the qualities of the amp vary quite a bit) check the amp for damages and stuff aswell

mine's purple. i want to put some cathode lights in it to make the whole amp glow though..

thanks dave. i tried your setting but boosted the bass a little, plugged in my 335 and the drive was just awesome. the tone is fat and edgy like Steven wilsons tone on Porcupine Tree's "Deadwing". lovin it.

hello i bought a Used '90 MarkIII some months ago and i am loving it. i just want to know what is the difference between a "blue stripe" and a "red stripe" and what type mine is... and if anyone could give me additional information on it that would be great crappy settings there....i know...
