To be honest, I do not know what this pedal would cover as far as the other Mesa tones. The unit has 2 12AX7A tubes in it and matches what my F-50 produces or close, but nothing like the rectifier heads I have played. I prefer a really ugly level of gain, so the F-50 may go next. The triple...

I have one and it is a great tube screamer type preamp. It is not that metal saturation though. G
