Acoustic Image Ten2 Combo amp (Series III) $900

2010 Acoustic Image Ten2 combo (series III). Solid state, powerful, 2 channel, 2 10" speakers in very portable package. I just don't use this so time to find a new home. Minor cosmetic scuffing on side, otherwise mint. Been back to the factory (2014) (an output transformer problem from faulty...

    Output Transformer

Has anyone upgraded the output transformer on a LLS (such as with a Mercury Magnetics transformer) and, if so, did it transform the tone in any (meaningful) way? Thanx!

    Lss 2x12 speaker upgrade

In the "for what it's worth" department, I have a Gold in my LSS and still have the 2 stock C90s in my 2x12 extension cab, and this combo is great. The highs/brightness of the Gold mixes well with the C90s. I have thought about swapping out the stock C90s for 2 EVs, but know I would need a...

    Speaker swap in LSS

Update: I put in a Celestian Gold. It is louder than and more "full range" than the Black Shadow. I am trying to get a lot of time on it to help break it in. I am hoping for less high frequency output once it has some time on it. Even stock it is better (to me) than the Black Shadow, which I...

    Speaker swap in LSS

I do not use the LSS outside of my home so it is used at lower volume and I use it primarily with a 335-like guitar. Has anyone swapped out the 12" Black Shadow to get a jazzier and/or "fuller" sound, particularly at lower/practice volume, than one gets with the Black Shadow? Appreciate any...

    Effects Loop Bypass

For those of you not using the effects loop: does this mean you are not using things like delay pedals or are you using them in front of the amp?

Anyone have an opportunity to try the Rivera Rock Crusher Power Attenuator yet? Thoughts?

Dumb question from a Lonestar newbie -loading power tube

SRVYJM: How are you setting your Master and Output levels when you have a delay in the Loop, with the send signal low? And are you talking about at what is shown as "minimum" on the send as "low"? Thanx!

    LSS for Jazz

Yes. Stock Black Shadow speaker. I am just grasping at straws here be wise I am going through a phase of not liking the sound with my thin archtop. Hence the request to see what settings others might use for jazz.

    LSS for Jazz

It is just the fatness that I would like to tame here. Even in channel 1. I wonder if it's time to consider a different speaker...

    LSS for Jazz

Anyone using a LSS for jazz? I can't seem to find a setting that I like. I am talking about low volumn with a small archtop. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    My New Lonestar Special!!!

When I called Mesa recently regarding a blown Rectifier tube, it was suggested that one should replace all of the EL84's every 18 months or so. Nothing was said about a 6 month rotation. I suppose there is no harm in the 6 month rotation and may well make sense if one is only using the 5 watt...

    My New Lonestar Special!!!

By rotating the tubes every 6 months, are you suggesting rotating the EL84's as pairs (inside to outside, etc.) or the other tubes, as well?
