I'm looking for a new tuner, it has to be a chromatic tuner, and I'm thinking of a boss TU-3 or a Korg pitch black, Are there any other tuners that would be good? I also want a bright tuner screen, fast note tracking, and accurate tuning. I don't want to spend over 80 dollars.

TC Electronics polytune pedal is the coolest one out right now. If your playing live and you only have a couple seconds between songs you just kick it on and strum all 6 strings and it can accurately tell you if any of them are out of tune.

man, a Sonic Research ST-200 is hard to beat. A little more than 80 bucks it'll last a lifetime.

Look up the reviews.

cheers

+1 on the Korg Pitchblack. Had mine for almost 3 years - works great, large display easy to see with aging eyes, very accurate, and can power other stomps

I tried one out in the store the other day and it worked as advertised. It's probably less accurate in polytune mode of course but it was designed to be used as a quick check, not for super accurate tuning. In regular tuning mode it was very quick to sweep to the strings tune and was very sensitive to any change of the strings tension. That being said, my boss tuner aint going anywhere.

Yep. I don't get why I have to choose between "quick" and "accurate". If I have to bend down and eff with it, it ain't a foot pedal anymore, is it? No thanks.

If its between the PB and TU id go PB. They work very well for me. If it were up to me though, Id go for the sonic research Turbo tuner. Its simply the best

i use the korg pichblack and the boss tu-2. they are both great.
the korg is true bypass and the bos isn't. i connet the boss to a buffer pedal that got anouther output so it doesnt effect my sound.

I have an EB volume pedal junior and it has a specific out for a tuner, So I dont care if its true bypass or not.
