I have 2 C+'s and can't decide which one I want (if any) to part with.

Late IIC short head upgrade to + HG hardwood and wicker (119XX)
-VS-
Factory C+ HG long head with Presence on front but has early (non labeled Mark III) faceplate. (blacked out Pull Rhythm) (138XX) Black tolex shell.

They both sound awesome so.......

For me it would be the factory 2C+. I think the presence on the front is pretty rare which to me adds value. Plus there are purists out there who will pay more for a "factory" 2C+ even though an upgraded 2C is exactly the same amp.

My question is why does it have a Mark III faceplate? Was it upgraded with EQ?

FWIW, there is an upgraded 2C to 2C+ for sale here for $2,850 shipped. Granted it isn't hardwood, but personally for me, that is only a few hundred increase in value unless the head shell is an original Mesa Boogie product in mint condition.

Of course this is my 2 cents

pics are on phone.. send email and i will forward. To much work to get them from phone to computer then photo bucket then here...
