Ok, so I'm feebly attempting to run a G major through that miserable parallel loop on my single rec, with mixed results. I get a lot of weird tunnel-like sounds from it and kind of an echo like sound, if that makes sense. What is the best way to mix this thing in there without so much loss of volume / and weird unwanted sounds?

that's what i did on my dual rectifier. after the mod, my G major sounds great!

How did you get that done? I looked through the internet and found many comments on many different ways to do it. Did you get a schematic or did someone do it for you?

i took it to a guy here in NYC (queens). he did the mod for me.

Crap... Montreal is quite far from that... if anyone has a good schematic of the mod, I'd really like to have a copy of it!

Cheers!

Do you have the Dry signal path on your G-major turned completely off?

If not, you could be getting a fair amount of cross-canceling of the non-FX loop dry signal, and the dry signal through your G-major.
