That was great! thanks for the vids! Do you feel like doing the solo in Ride the Lightening?

thanks again,

scott

Glad to see people soloing with the Roadster! Seems like a lot of folks on the Board will tell you to get a Rectifier for rhythm or a Mark for soloing. Nothing against the Marks, but they're not my cup of tea.

Seems like you were most comfortable in that Sad But Solo, which I also thought was your best rendition.

Thank you for posting! I quite enjoyed that. I once had a Roadster 2 x 12" combo. Nice amp really. It does exactly what Mesa/Boogie claims: Dual Rectifier heavy tones, Lone Star clean tones, much more simple to use than the Road King, and the fact that every channel has it's own dedicated controls means for pure ridiculousness in the realm of extreme versatility!

Some new videos with different EQ on the amp.

Here's a quick video of the Roadster with a MXR Carbon Copy and a EVH Phase 90 in the loop.

nice tone! but to get more of those VH style Phase-Tone, hit the switch to "script" mode. it´s way smoother and doesn´t cut of the highs that much.
i prefer the script mode over the block letter mode for VH style tones.

I had the opposite experience with the script mode. It sounds much darker.
