I want to get a spare fuse or two. Just in case...
Does Mesa "require" their fuses for warranty coverage or is a same specification fuse valid.
I read that not using their valves could void the warranty, which I understand, due to the way they select the tubes to need no bias adjustment.
Wondring about fuses though... :?:

Standard slo-blo fuses available lots of places. I bought spares through Parts Express. I think they are type 3AG 250V 4amp slo blo.

It doesn't apply to the fuses as far as can tell, but I bought similar fuses at Sam Ash and found that they were a hair larger in diameter, than the ones I got from Mesa. Worked all the same though.

I just wanted to follow up, in case someone has this question in the future, with my findings.
I spoke with Chris, at Mesa support, and he did confirm, as I and others here have suggested, that it is NOT necessary to buy the fuses from Mesa. He said the fuses they sell are not Mesa branded fuses and a 250V 4 Amp Slo-Blo fuse will do.
