Mesa C90 or Celestion G12K-100???

Do these speakers sounds about the same? I know the C90 is vented but other than that the driver and cone are identical.

I've heard the G12K-100 is brighter. Is it brighter in a 'good' way?

The C90 is actually a G12K-85 with a slightly larger magnet and heavier duty basket. Mesa ships the basket/magnet assembly to England, where Celestion installs the cone and voice coil. I'm not sure what the difference is between the C90 and G12K-100, but I can definitely say that the C90 is darker than the G12K-85.
