Mark V combo is just too heavy.

I have had my Mark V combo for sale now for about a month and only a couple of bites. Tonight I took it out to a band practice and it just sounded killer. To get a good thick tone out of my Ash Strat, I cranked all the channel mids to 3 o'clock, treble down to 11 o'clock, and bass at about 11 o'clock. All gains were between 1 and 2 o'clock. Along with the great tone, came a strained back carrying it up the stairs and lifting it into my trunk. I was going to get another amp but I don't think I can part with a Mark V. I'm thinking of these options: 1) Find someone to trade me their head and 1x12 cab 2) Try to find a Neodynium speaker to reduce the combo's weight 3) Call Mesa to see if they would work out a trade for a head shell and a 1x12 cab. If money weren't an issue at this time, I could just trade it in on a head and cab. Any thoughts out there?
