Just a quickie demo of me playing a couple of sloppy riffs I came up with with a camera recording it.

Amp is a green stripe fully loaded mark III playing on Eminence GB's and a man o war. Both pick ups are EMG 60's, using a maxon 808 for boost on the distortion.

It's kind of hard to tell from the phone recording, but you might sound better without the maxon.

I think it is kinda hard to tell from the camera LOL

Maybe you know a trick I don't though. If I don't use the 808, the signal is not saturated enough for distortion because I have the pre-gain(volume 1) set to 6. To me the signal does not get really saturated and full till you hit 8, but now you get really gritty clean in return. The 808 helps with the compromise. But another problem I have with setting the pre-gain higher is that I start to get fizz, just right when the signal hits the saturation I'm looking for. More than likely this is the JJ ecc83 in V1. I heard it is a fizzy tube.

Sorry though. I really should get a mic and take my time more.
