HI,
I've been using FAT, CRUNCH ,MARK IV for live play
the last few years but I think I'd like to use EDGE now
but still have a CRUNCH sound.
Does anyone have settings on channel 3 that are somewhat close to CRUNCH ?
I've been experimenting for a while now but not having any success yet.
Thanks
Tony

Should be easy enough to dial in to your liking. I'd start with IIc mode for me. My approach is to hit Edge with my Keeley Oxblood to get there.

I started mucking about with the Hetfield settings that are around somewhere. It's 2C with the gain low and the mids up.
I lowered the gain further just to see how it affected the bass. It's quite a nice, thick, crunchy sound.

I upped the mids further to 3pm on the dials. I reckon that and lowering the gain to 9-10am. Will get you somewhere near a decent crunch sound.
The last slider that is off picture is set so the bottom of the slider is set just above the middle line.

Definitely look for it in IIc mode. Lower gain and boosting highs on the graphic eq should get you there.
