Well, I had been running my amp in tweed, so I did swap the pairs of 6L6's for the heck of it. It seemed like I regained some range on my tone controls, but then when I switched then back, I did not notice a difference. I guess it seems like my tone controls are working again, but maybe not...

Yes, it seems to be on all channels. I actually run my treble on the high side too. 6 or so. One thing I like about the Mark IV is how responsive the tone controls are, and for the last few weeks it's lost it's range. Usually you can get so much treble out of it that it will make your ears...

Got a question for any of you amp techs. It seems like I've lost the range on several of my tone controls on my Mark IV. Could this be a tube issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have talked to Mesa about the rectifier/diode lights issue. The tech. on the phone couldn't give me an answer for it. My amp does the same thing. The rectifier lights or light stays on in diode mode (depends on whether or not you're using 2 tubes or 4 tubes). I think it was a design flaw...

In my experience, they have generally been right around 3 months, custom order or not. Also, I think the V30/C90 combination is a good one, but you'll be the best judge of that when you get it. Enjoy!

Hey cal, I think this refers to hooking up 2 cabs in both 4 ohm jacks of A or B, like hooking up 4 8ohm cabs in all the 4 ohm jacks and then using the A+B setting. You could give Boogie a call and verify this, but there shouldn't be any problem if you're just hooking up 1 cab in A and 1 cab in B.

Use the (2) 4 ohm jacks when hooking to (2) 8 ohm cab jacks like on the RK cab. I was told this by Mesa personally.
