    Mark 1 reissue

Folks. A few years back I traded a crappy fender hotrod plus cash adjustment for a hardwood/wicker mark 1 reissue - I was very pleased with the deal! The previous owner was a jazz player and used an archtop (Gibson L5). I suspect he wanted a totally clean sound from the amp and possibly fitted...

Mesa recto verb 25 vs Electra dyne vs tremoverb

I've had my tremoverb from new in the mid 90s...recently it had a service. It's not getting so much use since I bought an slo100 and a mk1 reissue. It's weird though..the tremoverb hasn't been a massive sounding as I remember it (unless it's me being sentimental) and I could do with some good...

    mk1 reissue speaker transplant

I guess it must be smaller. It was tight. I'll try to attach some pics later. One thing worthy of note is the build quality...superb. The biggest obstacle is the reverb tank against the magnet...but as mentioned ...it fit. I'm really looking forward to cranking it tonight! I had half a mind to...

    mk1 reissue speaker transplant

Job done. It's a tight fit with the reverb tank but it fits. I used four chunky allen bolts to secure it and had to drill four new holes (the others didn't line up). Gave the innards a good clean while I was in there. This was at 11pm last night... so when I powered up and test...my mrs went...

    mk1 reissue speaker transplant

Hi folks, I bought a lovey mk1 reissue a few months back and it came with the celestion black shadow. Having read so much about the evm 12l black shadow I had to try one. So I won a evm on ebay today but could do with some advice on how I dismantle the mk1 to fit it. Its a hardwood/wicker...

    Tremoverb Combo warming up issue

You can send the chassis to dennis marshall in Scotland. He recently serviced my tremoverb. I had lrd issues. Postage was piss cheap...£16 ..and the chassis was in a massive amp head flight case. He's the official mesa repair guy in the uk

    tremoverb tubes ...help!

My tremoverb has never sounded as good as it did since the first tube change. The output tubes were str420. What do you recommend folks? Also - how do I know what colour dot tubes my tremoverb requires? I'm pretty sure the original str420 were yellow dot.

Recto 2x12 V30 super boomy and bassy during recording

They are muddy bassy. I've been using a soldano 2x12 with eminence legends - much better. Lighter too.

    Tremoverb help!

yes. I've had mine from new in the mid 90's and it was truly untouchable at the time. I sounded hifi compared to other bands/guitarists. The bottom end sometimes drowned out the bass player we were using who had a trace elliot 4x10, 1x15! Then a few years back it just kinda lost it's spark. It...

    Tremoverb repairs UK

Hiya folks, I've owned my tverb since new - 1995/6. It's been fine up until a few months back when I was shredding away at home at low volume, when the volume dropped by about a 3rd. It kinda dropped, came back, dropped again - stayed dropped. As luck would have it I have a brand new set of...
