two new nylon/plastic inserts for my preamp tube cover/lid on my .50 Cal+? Should be the same for the .22 Cal and a few other amps.... I'll try and get a pic up if you have no idea what I'm talking about.

I just picked up a Studio preamp, and was wondering how to use my .50Cal+ head as a power amp? Would I go from my Send to the preamps mains A or B?

It's a 88 head, sounds alright, but I figure after 22 years it's in need of some TLC, like new caps, LDR's and a couple other things that I'll keep between me and Andy. I'll update when I get it back.

I've got a gig Friday night and plan on using my SP/2:90 rig. After two 1 hour sessions, I'm not real happy. It doesn't sound nearly as good as my .50Cal+ head. Not concerned about the clean channel, only the lead channel.

I'm new to rack gear and would like some help. Wondering what's the right way... Run the 2:90's volume all the way and the Studio Pre to taste? Or run the 2:90 at like 12 o clock and the preamp volume higher? Thanks in advance.

1. does V-1 and V-3 control the lead channel like on MKIII's or .50cal+'s? 2. Mike Bendenelli says to disconnect the recording out's to achieve a purer MKIIC+ tone, do I just remove the red wire and grey wire from the outputs and tape them up? Thanks in advance.
