Take a look at his vid:

After jamming for 10 minutes the triaxis started scrolling through presets as if the right button was being held down. I tried disconnecting all cables, midi as well.

This is the 5th time this has happened, this time I got a bit frustrated and pulled the unit out and 'banged' it around a bit.. Lo and behold it came right!?

Any ideas?

I've been here before. Couple of things you need to know...You need to use a high quality power conditioner or regulator (I recommend using a Fuhrman) to eliminate the radical electron spikes that are inherent in most conventional power sources. These electron spikes cause damage to your unit and can alter it's function...in some cases permanently. Please stop using the unit until you obtain a high quality conditioner or regulator. Also, check your tubes and, if the problem persists, contact your friends in Petaluma, CA.

More likely to be a failure of the front keypad membrane. Like when TV remotes wear out due to carbon rubber contacts breaking down or wearing out. It can cause short-circuits and random behaviour of the controls. Sometimes opening it up and giving it a good clean-out can get it up and running. Or you can replace it, contact Mesa.

Thanks guys.

@mesagod I have used one of these in my rack since before I had a Triaxis

@ando I am able to stop this scrolling by pushing on the front of the Triaxis in certain places. Sounds random I know but it works, so what you said sounds viable. Would you say it's easy enough to open up and clean out? I'm a 3/5 tech level.
